摘要:Abstract This study aims to alleviate the disadvantages that preschool period children receiving treatment as in-patients due to the time spent away from formal education by making the hospital environment interesting and enjoyable. In this study, activities were planned for in-patient children at preschool period receiving treatment in Burdur Maternity and Children's Hospital. These activities were administered by 33 teacher candidates for 6 weeks. A total of 194 activities were administered for a total period of 270 hours in the hospital. The data of the study were collected through interviews conducted throughout the practices. Findings indicate that the practices provided to in-patient children entertained the children and their families, helped them to have a pleasurable time, relaxed them, informed them, and eased their fear from hospitals.
