摘要：This paper describes and explores the relationships between the concepts of wealth creation and the normative structures classification of social capital. It finds that economic and sociological perspectives on social capital are complementary and provide a more complete understanding of social capital when merged. Together they offer greater power of explanation and permit a degree of reconciliation of terminology and concepts of sociology and economics. The merged theories offer a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of social capital and its place in the process of wealth creation.
