摘要：Characterization kinematics (angle and speed) of the different types of serve and relationship whit the receipt its, of the participants in the national championship XXXVII female juvenile volleyball, Medellín June 2008. The objectives of this investigation project were to analyze the speed and angle of the projection of the serve and the relationship with its reception. 105 serves of the Antioquia and Valle del Cauca teams were analyzed in female juvenile National Volleyball Tournament in Envigado in 2008. A SONY 60Hz in speed digital camera and the program Silicon Coach ® was used for the biomechanical analysis. The results showed that the average speed of the serve was of 17.1m/s with a projection angle of 15.8º. The speed of the serve was related positively with the quality of the reception.
