摘要：Discipline is an unpleasant part of the manager’s job and often handled poorly. This article examines the reason for this phenomenon and focuses on the need for due process. The traditional and nonpunitive discipline systems are compared and contrasted. Guidelines are presented for setting up workable discipline systems and for becoming more proficient at handing discipline situations.
