摘要:Given the recent interest of Brazilian archeology on the analysis and interpretation of Guarani ceramics graphic patterns, there is a need to develop and discuss methodologies for graphic representation of the paintings. In this sense, three methods for graphic representation of decorative patterns in Guarani ceramics are analyzed here, based on reproduction of surface, as well as the cylindrical and conic systems of representation. After analyzing the results, we found out that each of these models of representation presents advantages and disadvantages depending on the formal category of the decorated pottery, as well as the research goals.
