摘要：This is an analysis of rock sites resignifications produced in South America based on the colonial myth that the apostle Thomas could have preached to the Indians in a remote time. He would leave left many material traces that are used as evidence of his passage throughout the continent. This paper does not focus only on the colonial period, but also looks at current resignifications of rock sites, especially those where footprints are found.
