摘要：This article analyzes the operative-technical dimension of the professional action of social workers, in the context of professional project, articulating theoretical-methodological and ethical-political dimensions. It first presents some observations about issues linked to professional action, based on the bibliographic production of the field of Social Work and research data referring to the action of Social Workers. It then concentrates on a definition and discussion of professional actions, understanding them as the fundamental vector for the unveiling of the interventional processes of social workers. It discusses how these actions are articulated and distinguished from each other, arriving at a proposal with three articulating focuses, which are intrinsically and dialectically related, denominated as: political-organizational processes, management processes and planning and social assistance processes. In conclusion, the study presents possible contributions for an effective systematization. Key words − Social Work. Professional exercise. Operative-technical dimension. Professional actions.
