摘要:The paper analyses the setting up of the political and economic digital terrestrial television architecture in Argentina and Chile applying two categories of analysis: the role of State and politic parallelism. The study inquires about the political dynamics involved in the elaboration process of communication policies. It focuses on the role of the television channels of third sector that claim for their legal authorization to broadcast. According to a descriptive and explorative strategy based on comparative method, in both countries the DTT system emerges from the same pattern of relational power between media and politics, being unable to break the status quo.
