摘要:Research on farmers and ranchers has highlighted the detrimental effects of contextual stressors on family systems, as well as assessed risk management strategies on effectively reducing these stressors. In order to investigate the usefulness of these risk management strategies, we assessed 41 participants' changes who participated in a pilot interdisciplinary Extension program, Managing Good and Bad Times: How Can Your Family Be More Resilient? Using the double ABCX family stress model and descriptive analyses, results showed increased awareness of the risks and stressors in their lives and improved attitudes and behaviors to manage economic and human risks.
