摘要:Of the innumerable methods for analysing and acquiring knowledge about the city, the dérive is a tool which combines science with perception, rationality with intuition, and ties leisure to academics as an indispensable condition for learning. To the way of thinking at this university, the dérive, in addition to being an analytical tool, has the virtue of returning students’ enthusiasm and joy in learning about the city from their own experience. This article, divided into two parts, a first in which the theoretical framework is developed and a second in which the results of an undergraduate academic exercise at the National University is described, proposes situating this method of learning in the place that it should hold in teaching architecture and the city.
