摘要：This article presents a study based on statements collected during 4 years, made by people who escaped or were released from rural production units in Southern Pará. In all cases there is evidence that these people were victim of the crime of labor conditions analogous to slavery. This text aims to identify who speaks, how, when and to whom they speak, and how Brazilian officials react to this problem.
