摘要：The complexity of tackling history, not only in what refers to its thematization but also its comprehension, has taken an important place in philosophical reflection for the last fourth centuries. After the Philosophy of History was constituted in the 18th century and the subsequent critique of historical reason was done by Dilthey, this matter has been approached from different perspectives. It is the case of noteworthy philosopher Reinhart Koselleck who assumes that critique and proposes a Philosophy of History based on a systemic perspective, which focuses on conceptual determination and on the consideration of extra-linguistic elements. That is why Koselleck bases his analysis of historical time in two main categories: experience and expectation, categories that allow to understand the notion of Modernity that is behind his Philosophy of History, as well as to show the possible actuality of this approach by questioning our own position from the consideration of that modernity.
