摘要:This work intend to point to the articulation among gender, race and education in order to contribute with the educational production with feminist and antiracist approach. Thereunto, we ask about some symbolic and education processes, with main analysis axis the media as a curriculum device and its former or deforming effects on subjects, overall when it is about adolescents in tense processes of identity construction. From a disposition instigated by the question: “how can we learn to be a black girl? ” we analyze a season of the TV show Brazil’s Next Top Model , which is characterized as a “academy of models”, treating it as a field in which the discourses are reproduced and practices that regulate behavior and mediate conflictive relationships among black, mestiza and white girls. The analysis unfold itself on the composition of whitening as a discursive effect which focused on the black body and analyze the trajectory of a black women in the TV show chosen to understand the fiction in action on the fabrication of the model-body. Finally clues are presented to the reflection about the place of exotic, or queer , in the fiction of the unity proposed by the rule of whitening.
