摘要：This article aims to discuss public policies, in particular the policy of promoting racial equality, in regard to the Afro-Brazilian religions. These religions have gained great prominence in government actions since the black movement integrates them into his speech in favor of equal rights. Previously, Afro-Brazilian religions were one of the sources that guided the construction of national identity, and now they also guide the construction of black identity. This symbolic dispute about the African heritage refers to cultural and ethnic issues, reconfigured in a context of globalization.
