摘要：The aim of the present work was to investigate gestational risk factors and their relation to the birth weight of a child in two groups of gestational women who belong to different income levels. The sample was composed of 370 gestational women enrolled in a prenatal program in 10 Health Care Centers and a private office in Botucatu. Among risk factors investigated, education was the one which showed an important relation to birth weight. Data remark the importance of gestational risk situation control within prenatal assistance
