Some stainless steel samples were welde with silver or tin electrodes for several minutes. After that the hardness, strength of he samples were tested. Chemical composition of sample were also analized. Microstruct e of samples were observed with optical microscope. The results showed that, sam les welded with silver gave the best result. Vicker’s hardness of this sample was 117,06 kgf/mm 2 . Tensile stress of this sample was 0,0395. The application of welding was for ansformer cooler.
