摘要：The paper presents mechanisms of formation of symptoms under the perspective of psychosomatic point of view, this understood as a branch of knowledge related to the promotion of health on a bio-social-psychological perspective and a dialogue about knowledge pertaining to Biomedical Sciences and Human Sciences. An illustrative clinical case is employed to exemplify an integrated viewpoint on the health-illness process, which presents psychosomatic with interface relations between phenomena and process, regarding psychodynamic differences on the conversion and somatization; and proposes a critical reflection on the concept of psychogenesis.
