摘要：Environmental Education (EE) has only been timidly applied to preserve Brazilian biodiversity. EE and Biodiversity in Brazil (EE&BB) are intended to be immediately implemented in the public policies. EE&BB have been basically carried out in the Mata Atlântica, Restinga, Amazônia, and Manguezal. EE&BB are also applied to iconic species of marine and terrestrial vertebrates. This paper succinctly presents a case study, which shows an academic initiative to preserve marine organisms through the implementation of EE.
