摘要：This paper aims at reflecting on the crisis of civilization faced by humankind nowadays; this crisis is understood as being inherent to the capitalist model. I have adopted principles of Environmental Education as reference points for an alternative to the unsustainable and self-destructive model our society is immersed in. Therefore, I have proposed the adoption of ethical standards of Environmental Education, thus, favoring responsible and sympathetic actions towards the society and the environment.
