摘要：This paper shows some indicators of the environmental crisis and its complex problems. It also recognizes that solutions to environmental problems require reflection on deep changes in knowledge organization, i. e., a new paradigm related to the concept of totality. This ecosystem approach to knowledge takes into account that human and non-human populations must be viewed and analyzed in the whole context of the ecosystems which they live in.
