摘要：The world population grew dramatically in the last century. We are already seven billion people on the planet. The aggravating factor is that this population has been concentrating increasingly in cities, which creates many problems, as there was no appropriate planning to receive a large number of inhabitants. The result is chaotic cities. Therefore arises the necessity of the factor sustainability in urban planning, in order to allow the viability of urban agglomeration. The issues to be approached are awareness and changes that affect the current economic and production systems.
