摘要：This article investigates, within the bounds of Civil Procedural Law, the Interim Protection provided for in the Code of Civil Procedure, analyzing the (applicable) general provisions. A speedy trial is being increasingly sought by the Courts, and, through it, the State complies with the precepts of reasonable processing time and efficiency, recommended by the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988 (CRFB / 88), which are also resumed in the Civil Procedural legislation in the infra-institutional level. From this perspective, the research focuses on the positioning, mainly doctrinal, about the aspects that permeate the granting of Interim Protection in case of emergency, specifically in the Civil Procedure, highlighting the importance of this instrument as a way of fulfilling the intent of the parties. Eventually, this work does not intend to solve all issues raised in the research, but only amplifying the discussion about the addressed matter.
