摘要：This article seeks to demonstrate the influence of the globalization and economic growth phenomenon in society an the counterpart of socio-environmental governance and sustainability in the persuit of sustainability development. In it, strives to stablish a parallel that involving the relationship between development and environment as diffuse and collective rights in the spectrum of globalization and the capitalist system phenomenon that generating waste because of consumption. At the end, will be seen, it´s represents social and environmental problems with disastrous social consequences, to public health and to the environment from a mismanagement of this materials of human negligence. These impacts require adoption of management and public policy witch are expensive and require more than administrative actions of government. Require a human behavioral change in the search for sustainability and social control and society participation to change this reality.
