摘要：A partir del análisis de las novelas L’exil selon Julia [ El exilio según Julia ] (1996) y Mes quatre femmes [ Mis cuatro mujeres ] (2007), mostraré los procesos de arraigo cultural con los que trabaja la autora. Pineau sintetiza el exilio, la discriminación sufrida, la invalidez del creol y la nostalgia por el país de origen; a la par que propicia un rescate de ese propio país por la memoria afectiva y su admirable transmisión a través de la oralidad. La autora resemantiza la memoria erigiéndola en espacio virtual donde se juntan mujeres de diferentes generaciones para contar y, de manera colectiva, reconstruir la historia personal y la de su país. Abstract Based on the analysis of L’exil selon Julia (1996) and Mes quatre femmes (2007), I will study the cultural roots that Pineau articulates through her novels. Pineau synthesizes exile, discrimination, rejection of Creole as a legitimate language, and nostalgia for the country of origin; at the same time, she fosters the rescue of that native land through an affective memory that is orally transmitted. The author resemanticizes the concept of ‘memory’; it occupies a privileged position and becomes a virtual space for women of different generations to come together and collectively rewrite their personal history and the history of their country.
