摘要：Resumen. Voy a plantear el debate mediante tres aspectos en los que llevo trabajando algún tiempo. En primer lugar, me gustaría exponer la siguiente pregunta: ¿son encuestas todo lo que hay en red? En segundo lugar, voy a analizar las dos aplicaciones más usuales de encuestas en la red, vía correo electrónico y vía Web, desde el punto de vista de sus ventajas y desventajas respecto al correo postal y a las encuestas personales. Por último, plantearé, mirando hacia el futuro, la necesidad de mejoras en el control metodológico de calidad de las encuestas que se realizan en Internet. Abstract. I am going to raise the debate by means of three aspects in which I take working some time. First of all, I would like to set out the following question: are surveys everything what there is in network? Secondly, I am going to analyze the two more usual applications of surveys in the network, via electronic mail and Web, from the point of view of its advantages and disadvantages with respect to the postal mail and to the personal surveys. Finally, I will raise, watching towards the future, the necessity of improvements in the methodologic control of quality of the surveys that are realised in Internet.
