摘要：The mechanical characteristics of Inconel 718 alloy resulting from the heat treatments currently used in industry are compared with those produced with a newly introduced treatment. The advantages obtainable with the latter concern the minimum creep rate and the characteristics of the welded joints. The results obtained are correlated with the particular physical metallurgy of the material under examination .
