摘要:Boruca is a community that is located south of the country, in the province of Puntarenas. Its extent is 12,470 hectares territory and population census of 2000 has a population of 1,386 Indians, among whom there is a significant number of children and adolescents of school age, as well as alumni / as secondary. The report on human development in Central America and Panama, 2004: "Access to knowledge is a factor that largely determines the present and future welfare of the people. Knowledge implies on the one hand, access to education or training and the other, access to relevant, accurate and timely. has established that a higher level of education helps people enjoy better health, achieve higher employment and earn higher incomes. the level and quality of training is an important factor in promoting personal, social mobility and the collective progress of the country " Based on the above, I reflect that in the indigenous communities of our country there are pieces of information that support their teaching and learning, not have a physical meeting place where young people and others to express their skills, their taste for reading, searching and using information technology. And what besides their basic needs, are they covered?, Do their daily problems have solution?, Will they live in extreme poverty?, Do they have enough food?, Are your family relationships are harmonious? So, is it important library in the community?, what would and would support these populations?
