摘要:The analysis of the epigraphic documents from various sites in the Cabrera de Mar valley reveals a clear predominance of Iberian script over Latin, not only in the Iberian oppidum of Burriac, but also in the late-Republican settlement located in the modern centre of the village of Cabrera de Mar; both probably to be identified in ancient times as the Iberian site of Ilduro . Although the presence of public and private buildings with a marked Italic style in the late-Republican settlement seems to indicate that the inhabitants were strongly influenced by Italic culture, the presence of burials of human foetuses found in foundation levels and especially the epigraphic documents suggest that even in the late-Republican settlement the Cabrera de Mar valley had a strong Iberian character throughout the 2nd c. BC and until the first half of the 1st c. BC.
