摘要:This paper describe the tool “U Innovation coefficient” and the results that have been obtained in a sample of 200 companies from the regions of Antioquia, Quindío, Risaralda, Santander-Colombia. Currently, about 550 companies of Colombia, Mexico and Chile have used the tool and calculated the U Innovation coefficient in the low, medium and high ranges, from a high measurement to indicate that there are few barriers to innovation, up to a low indicator, which shows many barriers. The sample corresponds to a random selection of companies that they used the tool, between September 2011 and March 2013. This time, it was possible to measure the ‘U’ coefficient to determine whether there is any difference between the 4 regions by areas or departments and determine the range in which these regions lie, in terms of U Innovation coefficient.
