摘要:This paper discusses an interdisciplinary and intercultural experience of studying an ethnographic collection, namely, the curatorship of the Kayapo'-Xikrin material culture collection gathered by Lux Vidal and given by him to the Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da USP. Considerations are made about the relational and meaning possibilities of the objects in the collection, from different points of view: anthropological, museographic and historical, but also from the point of view of the Xikrin themselves, whose conceptual reapropriation of their objects in the museum may affect their self-perception and constitution of collective identities.
