摘要:This paper aims to discuss the process of quieting the poetic logos over time, from the analysis of some popular songs. Supported the observations taken public by Adriana Cavarero in the book Vozes plurais: filosofia da expressão vocal (2011), we investigated the presence of “vowel animals”, taking as an example the well-known fable of the ant and the grasshopper of La Fontaine, we passed the evaluation of lyrical as “voice of the heart” and hearing the sirens “singing women” as signs of the ontology of poetry and popular song, to the vocal polyphony of the mythopoetic of Macunaíma, as a representative of an essay on Brazil.
