摘要：The paper presents a historical and conceptual revision of the Artificial Intelligence research program by emphasizing its possibilities and constraints. Taking as a starting point the Dennettian concept of mind extrusion, the paper shows the extent to which new information and communication technologies accomplish the role of external boundaries to human cognitive processes. Finally, we propose the concept of Hybrid Intelligence, as resulting from cognitive partnerships between minds and machines and as a way to overcome the difficulties of the Artificial Intelligence research field.
