摘要：The origin of restriction is discussed in the article, its functioning in the language, typological peculiarities of the restricting expressions and the possibilities of their lexical and grammatical expressions. Making influence for the part of the sentence that it is aimed at the restriction it excludes from the negative field and it emphasies. So, in the language it has a double function; in this case it can be compared to the logical emphasis. The means of restriction in the romanic languages have the same typology but there are specific differences in every language. Grammatical restriction is more common in the French language, while in Spanish and Italian languages it is expressed by lexical means. Article in Lithuanian
