摘要:The objective of the present study was to analyze the orientation of the motivational climate in classes of Physical Education, taking for base the TARGET instrument that considers the building of the environment of learning in six dimensions: task, authority, recognition, grouping, evaluation and time. In accordance with the positioning and application of the teacher front to these variables, we can have the orientation of the motivacional climate to the performance, that aims at the acting, or orientation to the learning, centered in the student. The data had been collected providing capitation of images and audio. The investigated group consisted in groups of first series of Basic Education in a school of the City of Sao Paulo. The results indicate that the orientation to the learning was predominant, appearing orientation to the performance eventually. However, it was observed that it is possible to reach higher involvement of the practitioners in the activities if the teacher considers more intentionally the motivational aspects related to the Physical Education, knowing and applying motivational concepts.
