摘要：The objective of the present study was to analyze the process of muscular fatigue through the electromyographic signal of the vastus lateralis muscle (VL) during two protocols (exhaustion and 1 minute) in the isometric exercise of the knee extension. The electromyographic signals (RMS) of dominant lower limb VL muscle of the 9 female were captured with sample frequency of 1000Hz. Data were acquired through surface electrodes connected to a biological signals acquisition module, by A/D interface and specific software. The obtained results, after the accomplishment of the linear regression between RMS and the number of collections, showed a predominance of positive correlations in both protocols, corresponding to the development of the muscular fatigue. However, the intensity and the significant level of the correlations presented better results in the exhaustion protocol. It was concluded that in the 1 minute protocol loads ≥30% of the maximum load should be used.
