摘要：This article presents a proposal for a reading of the biblical narratives through elements of Literary Theory. The concept of rhetoric communication of the biblical text is central to the article. Initially, it indicates the main works published in Brazil in this area. After it analyses the relationship between Bible and literature. Finally, it defines the terms that will be employed and applies them to biblical narratives.
