摘要：Within the newly discovered archaeological site in the square of the Jewish quarter of Teruel, stands a ceramic tile, a bowl of local development dated between the late thirteenth and early fourteenth. Its uniqueness comes from its decor, which depicted what we consider two Jewish characters with clear parallels in Jewish and Christian Hispanic iconography of the time. This is a finding of great interest, since it is a fairly rare event within the iconographic corpus and medieval ceramic repertoire. In any case, it is a magnificent example of the strength of the Jews of Teruel during the Late Middle Ages.
