摘要:The feminist movement has been working for women’s rights since the beginning of the l9th century when a woman could not vote —in Spain this was not achieved until 1931—, nor hold public office, nor own property, exercise certain professions, obtain credit, obtain an education, etc. Little by little, vindications have touched more and more areas: politics, education, work. Today, women’s associations must again take up critical reflection of the fight for our objectives. The “Las Tejedoras” (The Weavers) Women’s Association has been working for four years for a different world, for a society different from the patriarchal model which perpetuates injustice, pain and loneliness. Weavers of dreams, goals and hopes. We weave “only support and solidarity among women”. Based upon experience and a specific project, the author presents reflections on the difficulties and challenges confronted by women’s collectives.
