摘要：This article analyzes the process of foundation and institutional life of the Paraguayan Academy of History (formerly Paraguayan Institute of Historical Research) as a way to account for the development of writing in Paraguay’s History in the twentieth century. Attempt to distinguish the conditioning factors on the practice of History and examine the role of the Academy in the process of institutionalization of the discipline.
