  • 摘要:Since 1998, cicada has been interesting agricultural commodity because of it’s benefit. Cicada is a commodity with good potential market. Cicada breeding could be run with relatively small capital. It also creates job opportunity. It is a simple business to run, not required special skill, but correctness and assiduity. The aim of the research are : (1) to formulate feasibility of cicada breeding business that developed by The Association of Indonesian Cicada Breeder (ASTRIK) at farmer and Division level, (2) to formulate efficient partnership model of Cicada breeding development by empowering people. The method of this study is case study with descriptive analysis (quantitative and qualitative). The data collected through questioner and interview with ASTRIK head office staff, divisions, and breeder. Data analysis uses Microsoft excel application, Feasibility analysis uses investment criterion which consist of Pay Back Period (PBP), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Break Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Generally, it is feasible to run Cicada breeding business. This is indicated by production aspect (big area is not required, and its’ ease to be learned); financial feasibility analysis resulted these following information : investment capital needed for breeder is Rp. 327.000,- ; Based on the financial feasibility at breeder level, it is feasible to run, indicated by PBP value (8 periods), BEP (Rp. 4,324,494,-), NPV (Rp. 56,152,-), B/C ratio (1.01) and IRR (17.44%). Based on the financial feasibility analysis at Division level, investment capital need is Rp. 18,650,000,- ; Financial feasibility criterion for division level are PBP (6 periods), BEP (Rp. 22,100,825,-), NPV (Rp. 9,309,064,-), B/C Ratio (1.38) and IRR (82.69%). Partnership model that developed by ASTRIK is a cooperation among ASTRIK, Division level, and breeders. These three components are related and supporting each other, so that the program will not run well if one of them is not coordinated. To fulfill industrial demand on cicada product, ASTRIK strategy is developing division in the group net of Indonesian breeder. To accelerate production increase, ASTRIK make a cooperation model with divisions in distributing and supplying input (egg and feed), technology and market guarantee of cicada product.
