摘要：The "time of now" once more raises inclusions and exclusions that define conditions of life and death, conditions of vital transit in social settings of realization or marginalization. How can we "humanely" experience this world? In what time are we? Are we all in the same time and, more specifically, is it possible that those who have been excluded may speak in this "time of now"? Moreover, if doing involves being able to, what is this capability and how does it develop? And, again, in what manner may the excluded speak in the "time of now"? Poverty, rather than the lack of income, lies in the absence of equality in capabilities among individuals within a society; this generates the bulk of the excluded. Thus, we propose speech —understood as theory and action— as a possibility for the excluded, and the result of the activation of their human capabilities. A place of opportunity to give a voice to the socially excluded is hinted upon, a place born from the training practices of the arts. These, with their particular ways of doing and expressing, preserve qualities that may well lead us to reflect on their potential to develop capabilities that are designed in contrast to "productive skills"
