摘要：Under the understanding that a moving body establishes gender relations that reflect intothe perception each individual has of yourself while moving and under the understandingthat sport and leisure (rights established by the State) are important expressions ofthe culture of movement, we investigated, through semi-structured interviews andobservations, the participation of boys and girls as beneficiaries in social projects ofpublic policies of sport and leisure of the Municipal Sports Foundation of Florianópolis/SC. Concluding that the sport in the Foundation does not stay away from the meaningof the performance sport, we perceived elements that maintain the social relation ofthe power of man over woman.
