摘要：The main objective of this paper is to describe the scenery of the Brazilian sport, mainly in the sphere of the high performance sport, in the context of the preparation and organization of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2016 through the planning, actions and the funding for sport in this period and the appreciation of similar experiences that allow us to point out some paths so that the main proposed objectives are achieved. After covering the indicated scenery, we verified the main proposals and planning for the Brazilian sport in the surrounding context for this study and we outlined some suggestions for achieving the expected improvements to the area, mainly in the high performance sport’s sphere.
