摘要：The objective was to analyze the scientific research in public policy for sports and leisure in Brazil. It was used a survey-described method with a qualitative approach. A search was conducted in five scientific journal focusing in public policy for sport and leisure, between the years 2009 and 2013. From the recent overview of the scientific production we found a significant increase of researchers from different areas of knowledge, as well as a demand for research to be conducted, as political arenas; Public and private actors; demands internal or external to the system and quantitative assessment.
