摘要：The study aim to investigate the preparation of professional education in physical education for working with the Rural Education. Therefore, we analyzed the curriculum the courses of Physical Education of the city of Curitiba, it was verified the presence/absence of the contents on menus and finally, a survey was conducted with former students. From the eight schools evaluated only one (UFPR) was found to include the topic in the Rural Education in their curriculum (12.5%). The discipline of Physical Education is an important element in teaching and learning by those who live in rural areas for revitalization and enhancement of its identity.
