摘要：This article reports an experience of workshops with building scraps toys made in a pediatric unit aiming to contribute to the practices in the hospital environment and helping professional with integrators actions between children and their parents. The workshops occurred weekly and lasted about 40 minutes, mediated by three playmates. The children and their caregivers were encouraged to build toys using recycled materials. Were reported two significant episodes of mediation and the general views about the intera ctions occurring during the activity. The results indicated that the workshops of building toys provide interaction hospitalized child/ companion and offers the possibility to obtain information on child development and the fun of playing. We conclude that these activities contribute to reducing the diffi- culties encountered in the hospital and encourage child development.
