摘要：Based on a perspective of social psychology, the aim of this study was to understand the meanings of truth and justice, put together by relatives of forced disappearances of the Colombian armed conflict.The research grew out of a study design of multiple cases. The data analysis was conducted using abductive reasoning in Atlas-ti software. It was found that the relatives of forced disappearances remain in a state of mourning caused by the uncertainty about what happened to their loved one. Despite the uncertainty, there are some possible ways to overcome the mourning. It is possible to to build a sense of loss from farewell rituals and repair actions, such as fact-finding and conviction of those responsible in court.
