摘要：The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relational dynamics of families who decide not to have children. This is a qualitative exploratory, analytical and crosssectional research. Depth interviews were carried out to 7 families by choice and not by biological circumstances have chosen not to have children. The analysis of categories showed that the relationship with original families generates changes in the relationship models, enabling a new family mythology, that is to say, an alternating narrative. Individual interests prevail over those built in couples. Conclusions: Childless may be a way for one or both partners to get the relational nutrition. This is a reason to recognize them as family system.
