摘要：In this article we review a series of variables in connection with labour relations and paid employment in Gipuzkoa, and their evolution in the recent past, with special attention to the years after the global crisis that began in 2007. Some of the most obvious effects of this crisis have been an increase in unemployment and job insecurity. Throughout the different sections we examine the evolution of the population, activities, occupation and other issues related to the conditions of paid employment, briefly addressing the multiple trends that can be derived from an analysis of the main data available. This first stage of our diagnosis is completed with further study on working time in different sectors of activity, which points to the arguments developed in depth in Castrillón et al. (2016b; 2016c and 2016d).
