  • 摘要:Graduate student teaching assistant (TA) training is a one-day intensive program at Memorial University’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science that introduces new graduate students to the roles and responsibilities of being an effective TA. This program uses online tools, case studies and theory discussions to orient new TA's to teaching and learning practices. A recent survey of graduate students taken after completion of the TA training led to modification of the current program. This paper will outline the program, proposed changes to the program and demonstrate how adapting student feedback can contribute to continuous improvements in student education.
